AI-
Artificial intelligence is used everywhere and is becoming quite popular in the education realm, to help with homework, essays, or quizzes. A commonly used app to help with this sort of education AI is ChatGPT
ChatGPT-
AI has recently become more popular due to the app called ChatGPT. ChatGPT stands for Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer. Most people before ChatGPT thought AI was a robot, nonexistent, and only happened in the movies. According to a Britannica article, AI is “a digital computer or computer-controlled robot to perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings.” People now use AI for everyday common tasks like authoring papers, solving math equations, or giving new food recipes. Other people use AI software for more complicated tasks such as making AI music, AI Advertisements, or AI education. ChatGPT can do all of this and more.
Accuracy-
Looking into this source a bit further it is quite a useful source that even I myself have used, but there are tricks that are not usually seen. For instance, while ChatGPT is useful sometimes the information is not always correct and needs to be re-examined. According to a news article, they were looking to see if ChatGPT was legitimate or not, and they determined the source was using fake quotes saying, “ChatGPT seemed to make up entirely fabricated quotes from phony anonymous sources.” It is always important to go back and review your material to make sure it is correct but when using this app for accuracy and consistency it does not fall through.
Plagiarism-
Another issue with ChatGPT is plagiarism. This seems obvious, however, due to the interest and use of this source professors and teachers are cracking down on the plagiarism aspects of it. There are now websites for teachers to use that can tell when a student has plagiarism in their papers. It is fine to get information and cite ChatGPT but using it as your own work is illegal. As there are downfalls to the website there are also positives.
Positives-
ChatGPT works with other websites and pulls information from Quizlet, Socratic, or Chegg, to help understand topics better and hopefully re-writing into your own work. It is useful to use as other additional information. There could be many benefits or negatives to this website but using your own common sense is key to using this source.
Final Review-
Overall ChatGPT is useful for certain circumstances, but does not always give you accurate information and could cause you to plagiarize an assignment, so is it worth it? As I said earlier, it is up to the writer to decide whether the information is useful and how the writer will go about crediting it. You could use this website as an extra source if the answer is true. I do not think this product lives up to the artificial intelligence definition. As some believe artificial intelligence will soon take over jobs I do not think ChatGPT is the one to do it, at least right now. There are tons of errors that need to be corrected before using this website for many other tasks that humans are qualified for. However, if the app keeps developing there could be alternate possibilities, that strive more toward the true goal of AI. ChatGPT is not quite there just yet but maybe someday it will.

Great article, AI is changing the world as we know it. I think it's like a lot of other things where you can use it to do good things or bad things. All depends on how you want to use it.
It's such a shame because up until now I had heard how bad A1 was and because I didn't know much about it and only heard their side of the story I only knew it in their point of view but this wow. This makes me understand how it can be used and how it's not "all" bad. You are right though, I also think it's ultimately up to the writer.
ChatGPT has just about become synonymous with AI in education circles. It's often presented as a one-sided issue, with educators wanting it banned in classrooms. This review offers a more balanced approach that would be helpful for folks to consider!
I think there are a lot of wonderful uses for AI, but some people have come to rely on them too much. Even though they can be really helpful they also use all the information on the internet as though it all has validity to it. I'm glad that you pointed out how inaccurate it can be because a lot of people I've talked to believe it to be an unquestionable source.
I really appreciate your review here. I have mixed feelings about AI but I like your review a lot. The fact that this review is honest means a lot and makes it feel unbiased. Do you think that one day programs or AI like ChatGPT might go too far or be not regulated enough?
