Top 10 Anime Recommendation

In entertainment we have sports, news, reality tv, and cartoons which have since then become international for everyone to enjoy. My favorite entertainment is Japanese animation known as anime, and I have selected 10 of my top favorite anime to watch from lease to most favorite.

Top 10 Favorite Anime:

  • Tokyo Mew Mew

  • Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End

  • Baka & Test –Summon the Beasts-

  • Ouran High School Host Club

  • Tokyo Revengers

  • Naruto

  • Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun

  • Erased

  • Fruits Basket

  • One Piece

Tokyo Mew Mew is a classic magical girl group anime where protagonist Ichigo Momomiya and her new friends must work together to defeat the aliens trying to destroy earth. On the lighter side, it has the typical love drama that follows Ichigo, and her crush Masaya Aoyama. There are upgrades and twists along the way as well as love rivals and misunderstandings. It will forever be my one and only magical girl group anime, and now they also came out with the remake version, Tokyo Mew Mew New.

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End which recently came out but to me it’s incredibly beautiful from the graphics to the story, and emotions. The story is about an elf mage named Frieren who aids in the Hero’s party to defeat the Demon king which then comes to pass, and now she roams the earth to learn spells that make connections to the people she held dear to her.

Baka & Test –Summon the Beasts- which I believe is one of the funniest anime to be out there or at least back when I was a young teenager, I found the anime hilarious. Long story short, it’s a school classes A-F who can challenge one class to another to gain better class materials through summoner wars. Summoner wars are avatars in a field space approved by teachers to fight based on how many right answers they have in tests to essentially encourage students to study hard and get good grades.

Ouran High School Host Club is an absolute must watch is it’s a group of rich silly kids who have a lot of time, and so a group of young men form a host club for the young ladies at school. Honor student Haruhi Fujioka must pretend to be a young boy in the host club to pay back the vase they were going to sell at a high price even though she is not as rich as they are.

Tokyo Revengers is about a young adult, Takemichi Hanagaki who one day gets pushed into the train tracks only to find himself 10 years in the past. He later finds out how he’s able to travel to the present and back thanks to the brother of his ex-girlfriend who convinces Takemichi to try and change the past to avoid the murder of his sister, Takemichi’s ex-girlfriend. Each episode keeps giving, from the plot twists to the graphics, and even the openings/ending songs. Cry Baby opening 1, Koko de Iki o Shite ending 1, and White Noise opening 2.

Naruto is just incredible in every way, the characters are loveable, it’s hilarious, it’s emotional, and it’s an anime about ninjas. This is the tale of Naruto Uzumaki, a kid who was ostracized because of what he had sealed within him, yet his dream was to be the Hokage which is the leader of the Hidden Leaf Village.

Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun is a nice and light comedy about a boy who was sold off by his parents to a demon to pose as his grandson to spoil him. The story follows the young boy Iruma in his life in the demon world and his attendance at demon school. Overall, it’s a cute anime with a good laugh, and I recommend it.

Erased blew my mind because it was short and sweet to the point in terms of pacing, plot, and theme was just incredible. The story follows Satoru Fujinuma, the protagonist who was framed for murder and somehow travels to the past as a 10-year-old where he must prevent the murder of his classmates.

Fruits Basket is a wholesome anime about Tohru Honda who becomes involved with the Soma family who have a zodiac secret. The remake is the best as it follows closer to the manga, and in a much more beautiful way to bring out more emotions than before.

One Piece is my absolute favorite anime of all time as I have never cried as hard, laughed as hard, and just loved as hard as this anime. The story follows a young boy Monkey D Luffy who sets sail on his mission to find the One Piece and become king of the pirates. The bonds he builds are so beautiful, they all have tragic backgrounds, and the songs go hard.

I will stand by Ouran High School Host Club till the day I die, but there has to be a warning for the twincest. You have to prepare people for that anime you can't send them in blind!

This list is very interesting, I honestly have to say I am not too into anime but I have seen some. Like, the anime Code Lyoko is one of my favorites as well as the anime series Pokémon. I may try one/some of these you listed though.

I haven't watched much anime but have been curious about it. Based on your description and what Vaisnave shared, I think I'm going to give Erased a try!

Let me know what you think if you do watch it! Erased is probably the biggest one I would recommend because it is only 12 episodes, and yet it was incredible.
